Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Virtualization Engineer (VDI Systems Engineer II) to design, deploy, and maintain FBI VDI environments across Windows and Linux platforms. The role involves creating baselines, ensuring DISA STIG alignment, and supporting enterprise VDI solutions with Citrix, VMware, and Nutanix technologies.

The position requires 6+ years of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship for Top Secret clearance, and a strong background in Citrix Xen Desktop, VMware vSphere,

Qualifications

6+ years of experience designing and implementing virtual platforms for desktop, applications and server virtualization.
U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a U.S. Top Secret clearance.
Hands-on experience with Citrix Xen Desktop, VMware vSphere, Active Directory and VDI deployments.

Responsibilities

Design and implement VDI design, deployment, and maintenance for FBI VDI environments.
Install, patch, upgrade, document, and deploy upgrades for Citrix and VMware VDI.
Configure secure printing between classification levels and ensure data security for FBI VDI.
