Job summary

D2 Technical Services is seeking a VDI Engineer to support a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment for an intelligence customer. Roles include architecture, design, and Tier 3/4 support across Citrix technologies, PVS, MCS, and CVAD, with a focus on performance, security, and interoperability.

Responsibilities span design, troubleshooting, and cross-team collaboration while leveraging Hyper-V/VMware VDI, Netscaler, and Leostream.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph; sponsor for poly available.
5+ years of experience with BS degree or equivalent.
Experience engineering support for legacy and current Citrix products.
Progressive roles from Administrator to Sr. Engineer.
Citrix VAD v7.15+ and related components.
Proficient with Citrix PVS and MCS.
Familiar with Netscaler/ADC/VPX and CVAD.
Experience with Hyper‑V and VMware VDI.
Familiar with Leostream and HP AnyConnect.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and provide Tier 3/4 support for VDI environments.
Guide desktop optimization for platform interoperability and act as liaison with VDI technologies.
Provide endpoint support for VDI tasks and issue resolution.
Maintain Advanced knowledge of virtual desktop infrastructure technologies.
Operate across multiple complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.
Apply extensive technical expertise and assess solutions and buy/make decisions.
