Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced VDI Engineer to support an IC customer/contract inthe Springfield, VA area. This position will support the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment. This role will be the SME in troubleshooting all related performance issue across the organization.Security requirements are a TS/SCI clearance andeligibility to obtain a CI polygraph.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators in order to resolve VDI issues.
• Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability and act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.
• Offers endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks on Virtual Desktop related tasks.
• Maintains an Advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies.
• Operate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.

• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later
• Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS)
• Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)
• Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX
• Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM)
• Citrix App Layering
• Liquidware Profile Unity
• Hyper V, VMWare, VDI (Microsoft or Citrix NetScalers / ADCs)

Desired Skills:

• Experience managing and administering Windows Server clustering
• Experience with Infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
