Job summary

Dynamic VSolutions is hiring a Virtualization Engineer to support the U.S. Army C2SA at the Pentagon in a fully onsite DoD environment. You will manage enterprise VMware and Citrix infrastructures, perform assessments, and drive modernization efforts.

The role requires active TS clearance with SCI eligibility, deep hypervisor knowledge, and strong collaboration with government personnel. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting enterprise virtualization environments.
• Hands-on experience administering VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter and Horizon.
• Experience supporting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops is required.
• Experience with Windows Server administration.
• Strong understanding of enterprise storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Experience with Federal Government or DoD environments is required.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: VMware Certifications (VCP), Citrix CCP/CCA, Security+, Microsoft certs.
• PowerShell automation experience preferred.
• Experience supporting classified networks preferred.
• Knowledge of DISA STIG compliance and cybersecurity best practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• We will administer and maintain enterprise VMware and Citrix environments.
• We will conduct infrastructure assessments and site surveys.
• We will install, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize VMware and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments.
• We will monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability.
• We will apply software, firmware, security patches, and system updates.
• We will respond to critical incidents and deliver advanced technical troubleshooting.
• We will develop and maintain configuration documentation, SOPs, diagrams, and technical reports.
• We will collaborate with government personnel on infrastructure modernization efforts.
• We will produce performance reporting, capacity planning, and usage analysis.
• We will ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, FIPS 140-2, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
• We will support virtualization implementation projects and technology upgrades.
• We will conduct knowledge transfer sessions and technical training for government personnel.
• We will assist with hardware replacement, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• We will participate in on‑call and mission‑critical support as needed.
