Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Technology Engineer I to bridge infrastructure and application development, focusing on Citrix-based VDI, Azure Virtual Desktop, and scalable enterprise platforms. You will design, configure, and optimize platforms, working with cross‑functional teams to improve deployment velocity and reliability.

The role requires strong scripting, Windows Server, AD, and policy management skills, with a pathway to more senior responsibilities while supporting hybrid in-office work.

Qualifications

• 3 years of technology engineering/platform management experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of Citrix CVAD, Citrix DaaS, and NetScaler (ADC).
• Strong experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and hybrid cloud environments.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation capability.
• In‑depth understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory (Hybrid AD), and Group Policy management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and major incident management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non‑technical stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Scope: responsible for analysis, design, implementation and configuration of technology platforms with high accuracy.
• Technical Execution: design, deployment, and setup of moderately complex platforms and environments.
• Design CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows to support deployment and operations.
• Collaborate with engineers to align application functionality with platform capabilities and infrastructure performance.
• Document configurations and operational procedures; Maintain platform integrity and reliability.
• Seek opportunities to expand knowledge in platform engineering, CI/CD, and DevOps.
