Job summary

D2 Technical Services is seeking a VDI Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and hands-on Citrix CVAD expertise, with a focus on reliability and performance across enterprise platforms.

You will provide Tier 3/4 support, collaborate with system admins, and drive automation and optimization initiatives to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
5+ years of experience in VDI engineering or equivalent.
Experience in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15+ and later.
Experience with Citrix PVS and MCS.
Familiarity with Hyper-V and VMware VDI environments.

Responsibilities

Architect and design large VDI environments; provide Tier 3/4 support to admins.
Lead optimization for desktop interoperability and act as liaison between VDI technologies.
Provide endpoint support for VDI tasks and issue resolution.
Maintain advanced knowledge of VDI administration, engineering, and implementation.
