Athena Technology Group, Inc. (ATG) seeks a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Administrator to support enterprise desktop virtualization in Key West, FL.

The role covers architecture, implementation, administration, performance, security, and availability of VDI environments. You will manage VDI platforms, monitor capacity, perform backups, troubleshoot complex incidents, and coordinate disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Citizenship in the United States is required.
• Active Security Clearance is required at time of hire.
• Eligibility to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• 5+ years in a VDI administration role.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Horizon, Citrix VAD, or RDS, and virtualization basics.
• Strong troubleshooting and knowledge of networks, storage, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise VDI solutions and related resources.
• Configure, administer, and maintain VDI platforms and infrastructure.
• Monitor VDI performance, capacity, and health metrics.
• Troubleshoot complex VDI incidents and user connectivity issues.
• Manage hypervisor technologies and virtualization platforms.
• Coordinate backups and disaster recovery planning for VDI.
• Ensure security controls and compliance for VDI environments.
• Plan maintenance, patches, and platform upgrades.
