Job summary

Wohlsen Construction Company seeks a VDC Director to lead the Virtual Design & Construction function, setting strategy across Business Development, Preconstruction, and Operations. You will manage the VDC team, establish standards, and build a multi-region capability to reduce risk and improve execution.

You will ensure early VDC engagement across all phases, translate field and client needs into a cohesive service, and drive data-driven progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a VDC/BIM function and scaling a team.
• Proficiency with BIM tools and model-based estimating.
• Excellent executive presence for client and leadership presentations.
• Knowledge of Design/Build, IPD, and 4D/reality capture technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the VDC team across regions.
• Own the VDC strategic roadmap and software selection.
• Establish standardized VDC deliverables and engagement processes.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Preconstruction, and Operations.
• Represent VDC in client pursuits and executive reporting.
