Job summary

IPS-Integrated Project Services is seeking a VDC Scanning Technician to perform high-quality laser scanning across project sites and support data processing. The role requires heavy travel between Michigan and Indiana project sites, with exposure to LEICA RTC360, BLK2GO, and other scanners.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in CAD/scanning, a technical degree, and strong data integrity skills, plus the ability to develop SOPs and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate's/Technical degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in CAD, scanning, construction, surveying, or VDC/BIM.
• Demonstrated leadership in laser scanning projects.
• Strong data quality troubleshooting and integrity skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning of scanning technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive laser scanning operations at various sites.
• Develop expertise in cutting-edge scanning tech and software.
• Uphold quality control protocols for scanning activities.
• Assist in writing and maintaining SOPs for laser scanning.
• Support data processing workflows between field collection and processing.
