Job summary

Haskell is seeking a BIM/VDC professional to support the Reality Capture & Digital Layout team. The role requires travel to jobsites for laser scanning, drone operations, and model-based layout coordination.

You will convert scans to BIM content, generate coordination models, and contribute to estimating and scheduling activities while collaborating with project teams across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Technology required.
• 3+ years BIM/VDC experience in AEC, specialized in reality capture and digital layout.
• Proficiency with CAD software and laser scanning tools expected.

Responsibilities

• Digital Layout: provide model-based layout coordinates and coordination drawings for field teams.
• Reality Capture: scan, process, register, and publish laser scan data for coordination.
• Drone Operations: plan flights, execute surveys, and process collected data.
• 3D Modeling: convert point clouds into BIM models and create parametric content.
• Innovation & Standards: test new tech and help maintain project standards.
• Coordination & Collaboration: develop integrated models and support virtual meetings.
• Estimating & Scheduling: extract quantity data from BIM for estimators; assist with sequencing visuals.
• Business Development: produce 4D/5D construction sequence animations for proposals.
