Job summary

Haskell is seeking a Construction Layout Specialist to manage surveying layout execution and as-built reality capture in a fast-paced environment. This role includes self-perform tasks such as concrete or piping, and QA/QC of subcontractors.

You will apply precise measurement tools and collaborate with VDC/BIM teams, field management, and office staff to ensure accurate data transfer and project success. Minimum 2+ years of experience required, with on-site field work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of construction related experience and/or training.
• Ability to perform field layout and QA/QC of subcontractors.
• Familiar with reading contract and design documents.
• Proficient with layout tools and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee establishment and implementation of job-related control points and bench marks from outside surveyors.
• Establish additional control points, grid lines for piping, equipment, and structures.
• Perform field layout and as-built tasks, including pre-planning.
• Use Tape Measures, Builders Levels, Transits, and Robotic Total Station for layout.
• Coordinate with VDC resources and field management about project needs.
