Job summary

Victaulic, a global pipe joining solutions leader, seeks an experienced Project Manager, Scheduling to join the VDC team. You will develop master BIM schedules, oversee multi-team pods, and drive risk management across corporate and remote locations.

You will coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders, implement scheduling best practices, and deliver weekly updates to leadership, ensuring on-time project execution and transparent progress reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, scheduling, and coordination within construction or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of coordination, scheduling methodologies, and workflow optimization for MEP, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, PowerBI, and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent).
  • Experience managing multiple project teams and coordinating across departments.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with proactive risk mitigation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to report data to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE

We're looking for a Project Manager, Scheduling to join our Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) team, reporting to the Senior VDC Manager and providing project updates, risk assessments, and performance tracking. This role also carries a dotted-line reporting structure to the Team Lead, working closely together to coordinate priorities with piping design and overall project execution. You'll develop and maintain master schedules for BIM projects, oversee multiple project pod groups, and ensure seamless collaboration between BIM modelers and coordinators across corporate and remote locations. This is an opportunity for an experienced scheduler and leader to bring structure, visibility, and risk management discipline to complex, multi-team project execution.

WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWN
Master Scheduling & Project Oversight
  • Develop and maintain the master schedule for BIM projects, ensuring alignment with project milestones and delivery timelines.
  • Work closely with customers, VDC teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain schedule accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and schedule conflicts to optimize project execution.
  • Implement best practices in scheduling, forecasting, and risk management to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Provide weekly project updates and risk reports to the Senior VDC Manager, escalating critical issues as needed.
Project Pod Group Leadership & Coordination
  • Oversee multiple project pod groups, ensuring seamless collaboration between BIM modelers and coordinators located at corporate and remote.
  • Ensure project pods are aligned with customer requirements, workflow priorities, and project schedules.
  • Guide teams on BIM coordination, scheduling best practices, and quality control to maintain high-accuracy deliverables.
  • Work closely with the Senior VDC Team Lead to align project priorities with overall objectives.
  • Participate in project meetings, presenting schedule updates, risk mitigation strategies, and timeline adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain dashboards, reports, and tracking systems to improve decision-making and project transparency.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, scheduling, and coordination within the construction or manufacturing industry.
