Job summary

Victaulic, based in Alburtis, PA, seeks a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to own the daily work flow from planning through execution and auditing. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of plant maintenance experience or 10+ years with 2+ years in a planner role, plus strong MS Office proficiency and maintenance software knowledge.

YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE

We're looking for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to own the work flow process across our Alburtis maintenance organization, from job identification and planning through scheduling, execution, and auditing. You'll develop detailed job plans, coordinate daily schedules for multiple supervisors and up to 20 maintenance technicians, and keep our EPAC maintenance system running smoothly as its plant administrator. This role calls for strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively with technicians, supervisors, and leaders across the plant to keep maintenance work on track and within budget.

WHAT YOU’LL BUILD & OWN

• Develop detailed job plans, including labor type and quantity, materials, tools, and work procedures, for repairs, alterations, and preventive maintenance to facilities and equipment.
• Prepare daily work schedules for multiple supervisors and up to 20 maintenance technicians.
• Manage and maintain the work flow process, including work identification, planning, scheduling, execution, and auditing.
• Lead the scheduling of down-day and non-down-day maintenance work.
• Generate purchase requests for non-stocked parts and tools needed to support planned jobs.
• Develop cost estimates and track spending against budget and maintenance performance KPIs.
• Set up and maintain Preventive Maintenance work orders in EPAC, including job plans and work frequency.
• Supervise the Storeroom Attendant(s).
• Serve as EPAC systems administrator, providing plant support and training, updating equipment hierarchies, generating PMs, and producing performance reports.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Associate's degree in Engineering, Maintenance, or Logistics, or Journeyman status.
• 5+ years of plant-specific maintenance experience, or 10+ years of general maintenance experience including at least 2 years in a Planner role.
• Prior experience with maintenance software and personal computers.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Good organizational and scheduling skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, supervisory skills, and the ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
