Southland Industries seeks a VDC Project Lead to drive successful project execution and coordinate between VDC teams, stakeholders, and leadership. The role balances hands-on problem-solving with strategic planning and BIM standard adherence.

This position may be filled at varying levels based on skills and experience; final title and compensation will align with internal equity and market benchmarks. Located in Texas, the role emphasizes workflow development and QA/QC for project success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in construction/engineering preferred.
• Experience leading VDC or BIM projects and coordinating across teams.
• Familiarity with Autodesk suite and BIM workflows is essential.
• Ability to develop and implement advanced workflows and project plans.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Lead VDC projects and coordinate with client requirements and standards.
• Interface with project teams for scheduling and deliverables.
• Review BIM requirements and guide teams accordingly.
• Collaborate on external BIM execution plans for contractual compliance.
• Manage file sharing, coordination, and archiving of milestones.
• Create project-specific Revit content following standard practices.
• Develop and implement VDC workflows to drive efficiency.
• Provide QA/QC on VDC outputs and support IT/software setup.
