Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company seeks a VDC Manager 1 to lead the use of VDC technologies on projects, ensuring adherence to contract requirements and effective field implementation. You will manage VDC-related team members and subs, driving productivity and risk mitigation.

The role requires strong communication, coordination, and leadership to align design, engineering and field teams across multiple projects, with emphasis on safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preconstruction coordination and other VDC efforts.
• Oversee project coordination performance and maintain relationships with clients, designers, and consultants.
• Review owner contracts for references to VDC/BIM and ensure Execution Plan compliance.
• Prepare VDC/BIM portions of contracts and communicate project needs during procurement.
• Attend and lead project meetings and conduct QC inspections of the model.
• Mentor others and demonstrate commitment to safe, injury-free work practices.
