Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company is seeking a VDC Manager 1 to drive virtual design and construction efforts across projects. You will supervise VDC team members and subcontractors, ensuring BIM data is accurately implemented in the field and aligned with owner/design team requirements.

You will lead preconstruction coordination, communicate project needs, and oversee coordination performance, contributing to productivity and risk mitigation across multiple projects in the Oklahoma area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent; may substitute with related experience 1:1
• 8 years of industry experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with preconstruction coordination and other VDC efforts.
• Assist with reports regarding the coordination efforts of the project.
• Resolve conflicts with subcontractors.
• Review the owner contract for VDC/BIM references and ensure Execution Plan compliance.
• Prepare the VDC/BIM portion of the contract and communicate project needs to procurement.
• Oversee coordination performance, monitor status and schedule, and maintain client/designer/consultant relationships.
• Maintain coordination efforts to reduce added cost to trades and the project.
• Attend and lead project meetings.
• Conduct quality control inspections of the model.
• Commit to an Injury-Free Environment and mentor others.
• Assist in demonstrations of software/technologies.
• Perform duties of VDC Engineer 1 and 2.
• Uphold Guiding Principles and Way We Work.
• Other duties as assigned.
