Job summary

Jobtailor in Austin, TX seeks an experienced BIM professional to administer and coordinate BIM on assigned projects, delivering complex models and supporting internal teams in 3D coordination.

You will manage VDC processes, create clear project documentation, support RFIs for BIM items, and lead cross‑discipline teams through BIM workflows using tools like Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Construction Science.
• 5+ years construction/related experience.
• 5+ years BIM-related experience.
• Ability to perform work accurately and timely.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to deliver presentations at an intermediate level.
• Knowledge of Lean process philosophy.
• Ability to solve complex problems and lead teams in BIM/VDC.

Responsibilities

• Provide BIM administration and coordination on projects.
• Develop complex models and documents; lead 3D coordination.
• Manage VDC processes to support projects.
• Create and maintain project documentation: agendas, minutes, constraint logs.
• Support RFI process for BIM items.
• Maintain productive BIM processes and relationships with owners/subcontractors.
• Develop composite models from designer/content and create missing content.
• Provide BIM technical support to project teams.
• Implement best practices for VDC.
