Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a BIM/VDC professional to administer and coordinate BIM on assigned projects, assemble 3D content, and maintain essential project documentation. You will report to VDC leadership and collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate models and documents.

Required are a construction-related bachelor’s degree, 2+ years BIM experience, and a valid driver’s license. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field is required.
• 2+ years construction or related experience required.
• 2+ years BIM-related experience required.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• May require periods of travel.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine BIM administration and coordination to assigned projects.
• Provide models and documents necessary to complete scope as determined with VDC/BIM leadership.
• Assemble 3D content modeled by others and create/maintain project documentation.
• Communicate VDC related project constraints to supervisor and project teams in a timely manner.
• Support operations with the RFI process for BIM related items.
• Analyze construction documents and models, looking for errors.
