Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Virtual Construction Technician to serve as the technical source of modeling information for various projects. You will create 3D/4D/5D models and maintain BIM data across multiple disciplines.

Applicant should have a 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture and 4+ years of construction experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and CPM scheduling, plus strong reading of construction documents and shop drawings.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture.
• 4+ years' construction experience.
• 3+ years blue print/specification reading.
• 4+ years in Autocad/Revit/Navisworks/CPM scheduling software.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Creates 3D models of Architectural, Structural and MEP systems.
• Maintains model libraries using correct uniformat or masterformat codes.
• Trains virtual construction technicians in use of company software.
• Reviews bid scope documents for BIM language and deliverables.
• Virtually walks through the model to identify misplaced elements.
