Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a VDC Engineer to join our Mid-Atlantic team based out of Falls Church, VA. This hands-on role emphasizes modeling, coordination, and digital workflows across complex projects. You will develop and coordinate BIM models and participate in design and construction phases.

You will perform clash detection using Navisworks and Revit, support Procore and ACC workflows, and collaborate with trade partners to ensure constructability and project success.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience (or internships) in VDC/BIM modeling or related field.
• Exposure to technology, 3D modeling, process development and software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP & trade systems with partners to resolve conflicts.
• Support multi-trade coordination and clash detection.
• Contribute to BIM execution planning, model logistics, and data management.
