Job summary
Clayco is seeking a Design Technology Manager/VDC Systems Lead to serve as the technical authority for BIM, Plant 3D, and digital project delivery across Clayco Design & Engineering projects. You will develop and maintain digital workflows from concept through turnover.
The role requires advanced knowledge of Autodesk Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Forma, and you will lead model coordination, support field teams, and drive continuous improvement in project quality and
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM/VDC workflows.
- Experience administering Plant 3D in a multi-project environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical resource for BIM, VDC, Plant 3D, and digital construction workflows.
- Develop and maintain digital engineering standards, procedures, templates, and best practices.
- Lead federated model coordination activities and clash detection processes.
- Coordinate software installations, updates, patches, and system maintenance.
- Provide technical mentoring and training to engineers, designers, drafters, and project personnel.
