Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company is seeking a VDC Manager 1 to lead the use of VDC technologies on one or more projects. The role includes ensuring adherence to VDC standards, coordinating with owners, design teams, and subcontractors, and translating virtual data to field execution.

You will oversee VDC-related team members, monitor project performance, and maintain client relationships while driving cost-effective, safe project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent; may substitute related experience on a one-to-one basis.
• 8 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preconstruction coordination and other VDC efforts.
• Assist with reports regarding project coordination efforts.
• Resolve conflicts with subcontractors.
• Review owner contract references to VDC/BIM and ensure execution plans comply with requirements.
• Prepare VDC/BIM portions of contracts for procurement.
