Manhattan Construction Group in Oklahoma City is seeking a VDC Engineer 2 to support the VDC Manager and assist in project coordination. You will help develop BIM plans and coordinate models across trades. The role requires strong communication, reading drawings, and proficiency with Autodesk Suite, Bluebeam, Revizto, Tekla, and Microsoft Office. Travel may be required; you will be part of a safety‑focused, client‑driven team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
2–5 years of experience in construction or architecture/design with knowledge of VDC software.
Ability to stand, bend, sit for long periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Willingness to travel domestically and must have a valid driver’s license.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to read drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing project-specific BIM Execution Plan and attachments.
Set up and maintain coordination schedule.
Manage file exchange of latest models from trades and design teams.
Model building components not modeled by Architect when required for MEP coordination.
Perform clash detection reviews prior to coordination meetings.
Manage weekly coordination meetings and report progress to project and VDC teams.
Assist in training software workflows with project teams or trade partners.
Monitor software/technologies to improve workflows.
