Job summary

McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is seeking a VDC Manager to drive Virtual Design & Construction across project lifecycles. You will lead VDC and BIM processes, mentor teams, and partner with Design, Preconstruction and Operations to deliver robust 3D coordination and data-informed decisions.

The role requires strong communication skills, expert BIM software knowledge, and the ability to manage regional initiatives while supporting projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years in the industry; at least 3 years focused on VDC.
• Strong leadership, process orientation, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Promote virtual building culture among internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage VDC planning and execution across projects, offices or regions.
• Partner with Digital Craft & Reality Capture teams for deliverables.
• Communicate value proposition and standard of care for VDC capabilities.
• Develop VDC processes, training, and succession plans.
• Maintain and share VDC lessons learned and metrics.
