Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Project VDC/BIM Lead in Portland, OR to plan, coordinate, and support digital delivery and BIM activities across projects. You will partner with project managers and design leads to ensure quality, schedule, cost efficiency, and client satisfaction.

The role requires 4+ years in design support, architecture/engineering, construction coordination, or related client-facing settings, with strong MS Office skills and experience with AutoCAD/Revit.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or coordinating digital delivery, BIM, CAD, GIS, or information management on engineering, design, infrastructure, or construction projects.
• Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans, Digital Delivery Plans, common data environments, and model coordination workflows.
• Ability to coordinate across project management, design teams, discipline leads, subconsultants, clients, and tech stakeholders.
• Experience supporting quality assurance for digital models, drawings, data, and deliverables.
• Familiarity with project delivery requirements related to scope, schedule, cost, risk, and contract obligations.

Responsibilities

• Define and confirm project digital delivery scope aligned with contracts and client requirements.
• Prepare and maintain Digital Delivery Plans and BIM Execution Plans.
• Lead digital delivery kickoff activities and project mobilization.
• Coordinate digital delivery workflows across management, design, and construction teams.
• Integrate digital delivery activities with schedule, cost, risk, and change management.
• Identify, manage, and resolve digital delivery issues affecting scope, schedule, or quality.
• Provide regular progress, risk, and resource updates to leadership.
• Support permitting, construction coordination, and handover workflows.
• Establish cross-discipline model coordination processes and oversee quality assurance.
• Verify delivery of drawings, models, and asset information in line with project requirements.
• Lead digital delivery reviews and reporting for project leadership.
