Jacobs is actively seeking a seasoned VDC Lead to manage digital delivery for advanced manufacturing projects in the U.S. This site-based role emphasizes BIM execution planning, 3D/4D/5D integration, and coordination across design and field teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of BIM technologies and their application in manufacturing environments in Design and Construction
• Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, Revizto) and Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of onsite leadership of VDC activities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment on a project site and virtually
• Experience in developing and implementing BIM execution plans
• Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems
• Willing to work on site at a project near Corpus Christi, TX

Responsibilities

• Lead VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery management and leadership by aligning technologies with internal and client goals and define digital delivery scope for project estimates
• Coordinate project technical setup and model deliverables
• Lead clash detection and resolution meetings with design teams and trade partners
• Manage model redline and as-built processes; verify construction install with model-based practices
• Coordinate laser scan data integration and facilitate Scan to BIM efforts
• Support field employees with technology and provide on-site leadership and training
