Job summary

Redapt, Inc. is seeking a Principal Security Advisor (vCISO) to lead security-focused customer engagements within our vCTO practice. You will engage CISOs and executives, drive security strategy, and guide complex transformations.

The role combines advisory, architecture, and delivery leadership across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem estates, with emphasis on AI security, risk governance, and modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity, security architecture, or security consulting experience.
• 5+ years leading enterprise security initiatives.
• Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Expertise in Security Architecture, Cloud Security, IAM, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Zero Trust, Security Operations, Incident Response, Microsoft Security Technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted security advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and executive leadership teams.
• Lead security strategy and roadmap engagements.
• Conduct executive workshops, assessments, and discovery sessions.
• Translate business risk into actionable cybersecurity initiatives.
• Develop security modernization strategies.
• Design and lead implementation of enterprise security solutions.
• Lead engagements across hybrid, cloud, and on-prem environments.
• Mentor engineers and consultants.
• Support escalation and resolution of complex security challenges.
