Redapt is seeking a Principal Security Advisor (vCISO) to join our vCTO practice and lead security-focused customer engagements. Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity, security architecture, or security consulting experience.
• 5+ years leading enterprise security initiatives.
• Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions in complex enterprises.
• Expertise in Security Architecture.
• Expertise in Cloud Security.
• Expertise in Identity & Access Management.
• Expertise in Governance, Risk & Compliance.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust frameworks.
• Security Operations.
• Incident Response.
• Microsoft Security Technologies.
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to lead both customer strategy and technical implementation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Executive Advisory & vCTO services for CISOs and executive teams.
• Lead security strategy and roadmap engagements.
• Conduct executive workshops, assessments, and discovery sessions.
• Translate business risk into actionable cybersecurity initiatives.
• Develop security modernization strategies.
• Design and lead enterprise security solutions across hybrid, cloud, and on-prem environments.
• Lead engagements involving Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, GCP, M365 and GCC/GCCHigh).
• Manage Identity & Access Management, SOC modernization, vulnerability mgmt, governance, risk & compliance, AI security, data protection, network/infrastructure, endpoint security, Microsoft security solutions.
• Provide delivery leadership from assessment through implementation.
• Mentor engineers and consultants; support escalation and resolution of complex security challenges.
• Help define and grow Redapt’s security consulting and advisory capabilities.
• Create repeatable security assessments, frameworks, offerings, and methodologies.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and industry trends.
• Assist with recruiting, mentoring, and developing future security talent.
• Partner with sales on strategic opportunities; support workshops, evaluations; lead solution design and SOW development.
