Job summary

Search Group is seeking an early-career accountant for a financial services client in Vienna, VA. This role is mostly remote with occasional office visits, ideal for someone starting their accounting career with VC/PE interest.

Responsibilities include day-to-day accounting: journal entries, ACH/wires, reconciliations, assisting with month-end close, and audit prep. A Bachelor in Accounting or Finance and strong communication skills are required; advanced Excel and ERP exposure a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of day-to-day accounting operations experience (journal entries, ACH/wires, reconciliations)
• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance required
• Excellent communication skills to interact with investors; Advanced Excel and ERP exposure a plus

Responsibilities

• Process journal entries, ACH/wires, and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close and audit preparation
• Coordinate with teams and external auditors as needed
