Job summary

Search Group is seeking an early-career accountant for a financial services client in Vienna, VA. This role is mostly remote with occasional office visits, ideal for someone starting their accounting career with VC/PE interest.

Responsibilities include day-to-day accounting: journal entries, ACH/wires, reconciliations, assisting with month-end close, and audit prep. A Bachelor in Accounting or Finance and strong communication skills are required; advanced Excel and ERP exposure a plus.

Job description

Our financial services client in Vienna, VA is looking for a motivated early-career accountant who has an interest/excited about VC/PE. This is mostly remote with occasional visits to the office.

Need to have at least 1+ years’ experience in day-to-day accounting operations, such as journal entries, ACH/wires, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end close, and audit preparation.

Must have a Bachelor in Accounting or Finance and excellent communications skills to interact with investors. Advanced Excel and ERP system exposure a plus.

Compensation is $70-80K.

MUST be local to the DMV area.
