Fox Valley Park District seeks production staff for Prisco Community Center in Aurora, IL. This part-time/seasonal role supports theatre productions, from casting to stage management and technical duties.

The production staff is responsible for theatre production duties as assigned per production, and overall program leadership. Production staff could include positions such as Director, Vocal Director, Choreographer, Stage Manager, Costumer, and Assistant Artistic Staff positions. Specific roles will be assigned on an individual basis and per production.
Could include, but are not limited to: Creative interpretation of the script, taking into account the budgetary and physical constraints of the production. Coordination of artistic aspects of the production, including the selection of the cast, lighting, sound, properties, set construction, costumes, etc. Help communicate, support, and ensure tasks of other artistic staff are completed on time and within budget. Teaching, evaluating, and adjusting the production to create a quality product confident and ready by the first performance. Provide a fun, learning environment for all participants and staff and be willing to work with many participants with a wide range of ages, experiences, and abilities in a nurturing and supportive manner. This is an at-will position.
