Job summary

Lactalis USA in Nampa, Idaho, is seeking a Relief Production Operator IV–Vats (String). You will begin with raw milk silos, HTST pasteurization, and vat operations, adjusting ingredients based on lab data. You’ll monitor parameters, run CIP cycles, and ensure quality per recipes.

The role requires accurate data recording, ability to work in a fast-paced dairy setting, and strong collaboration with Cheesemakers and QA teams. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lines for cheese-making.
• Operate HTST pasteurizer with proper start/stop.
• Record cheese-making parameters and analyze lab results.
• Use PLC/HMI to monitor and adjust equipment.
• Follow recipes for cheese products.
• Maintain accurate records of deviations and lab data.
• Perform CIP and sanitation duties as assigned.
• Report any quality or safety issues promptly.
