Job summary

CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Kleberg in Kingsville, TX is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform advanced cardiac and vascular diagnostic exams using echo, ultrasound and Doppler equipment. The role requires competent technologists with ARDMS/ARRT/CCI credentials and experience in vascular imaging.

You will support physicians in biopsies and interventional procedures, while maintaining accurate test data and preliminary interpretations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Sonography or Radiology Technology Program required.
• 1-2 years vascular ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Performs ultrasound exams of cerebral, peripheral and abdominal vessels.
• May perform therapies such as pseudoaneurysm compression.
• Records data and provides preliminary interpretations.
• Performs routine abdominal, small parts, breast, OB/GYN and other vascular ultrasound.
• Assists physicians with biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis and needle localization.
