Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited vascular technology, medical sonography, or equivalent program required
• 1–3 years of vascular ultrasound experience preferred
• BLS certification required or registries (ARDMS/CCI/ARRT)

Responsibilities

• Conducts vascular ultrasound examinations including carotid, peripheral arterial, venous, and abdominal studies
• Ensures proper documentation and labeling of studies in accordance with departmental standards
• Works independently on assignments of limited to moderate complexity with general guidance
• Interacts with internal clinical staff and patients in a customer service-oriented manner
• Communicates effectively with referring providers to clarify orders and ensure appropriate study selection
• Participates in routine equipment maintenance and quality control procedures
• Maintains accurate records and contributes to continuous improvement efforts
