Job summary

Cone Health is seeking a DG Registered Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular and diagnostic ultrasound exams, interpret images, and prepare detailed reports. The role involves operating ultrasound equipment, maintaining supplies, and ensuring patient comfort.

Collaboration with physicians and the care team is essential for effective patient management. Required are RVT/RVS/ARDMS or ARRT certifications and BLS; a high school diploma or equivalent plus graduation from an accredited ultrasound

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited radiology/imaging or ultrasound program.
• 1 year of experience is required.
• Licensure/certification: RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) and RDT/RT(S) or ARRT; BLS CPR.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular and diagnostic ultrasound exams with advanced imaging.
• Interpret and analyze ultrasound images to support accurate reports.
• Maintain and prepare ultrasound equipment and supplies for testing.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Document and file patient tests and results per protocol.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for patient management.
