Qualifications

• Certification: BLS within 30 days (AHA)
• RVT‑VT (ARDMS) credential
• RVS (CCI) credential
• Associate’s Degree: Sonography

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, factors and alignment.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Documents accurately and completely.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures following departmental guidelines.
• Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound exams according to physician orders and standing protocols.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Proper cleaning of equipment and rooms between patients.
• Document appropriately to communicate with physicians on patient history and exam findings.
