Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular ultrasound exams, using diverse equipment and modalities in our CV Services division. You will contribute to high-quality imaging, patient data review, and documentation while rotating to off-site mobile locations to serve patients locally.

This role requires multiple certifications (BLS, RVS, RVT‑VT) and an associate degree in Sonography.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Sonography required.
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA) required.
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - CCI required.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT‑VT) - ARDMS required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, factors and alignment.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Documents accurately and completely.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures following departmental guidelines.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability.
• Proper cleaning of equipment and rooms between patients.
