Qualifications

• RVT or Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in field of Vascular.
• BLS Certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0-2 years of Vascular Experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient in vascular department.
• Communicates assessment findings and reports changes to the Physician.
• Meets department productivity standards and prioritizes acute needs.
• Participates in evaluation of tests and creates reports from diagnostic procedures.
• Participates in initial interpretation of non-invasive vascular studies and submits to reading Physician.
• Inputs data into the charging system and documents pertinent patient information.
• Maintains records for accreditation requirements and assists with equipment and supplies.
