Jefferson Health is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to perform general ultrasound examinations with vascular experience under radiologist direction at our Turnersville, NJ location.

The role requires proper patient positioning, image acquisition, and data management in PACS/RIS systems, with attention to safety and quality assurance. 6 months to 1 year experience preferred; RDMS/RVT/ARRT(S) certification may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred.
• Certification by RDMS, RVT or ARRT(S) active.

Aufgaben

• Performs general ultrasound examinations with vascular experience under radiologist/physician supervision.
• Properly positions patients and scans areas for interpretation.
• Assembles patient information and images for interpretation and review.
• Maintains equipment and image quality; ensures PACS/RIS data accuracy.
• May mentor less senior ultrasound technologists.
