Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Vascular Technician for RWJUH Somerset in New Jersey. You will perform high-quality non-invasive vascular ultrasound exams and related physiological testing in a busy Echo/Vascular Lab.

The role requires graduation from an ultrasound training program, prior vascular lab experience, and RVT or RVS certification. Registry-eligible candidates may be hired and must take the exam within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a formal Ultrasound Training Program.
• Previous experience in a dedicated Vascular Laboratory.
• Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) certification; registry-eligible candidates may be hired but must sit for the registry exam within 6 months and pass within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality non-invasive diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Provides clear preliminary reports and communicates findings to physicians.
• Coordinates testing workflow and maintains ICAVL standards.
• Assists vascular surgeons and supports ultrasound-guided procedures as needed.
• Adheres to safety and compliance standards in the laboratory.
