Job summary

Jefferson Health Washington Township seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform general and vascular ultrasound exams under supervision of radiologists. The role requires proper patient positioning, image acquisition, and adherence to safety standards.

Opportunities to mentor junior staff are available. The candidate should have registry eligibility or certification (RDMS/RVT/ARRT) and a working BLS credential, with 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ultrasound program or equivalent with eligibility for registry/certification.
• 6 months to 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred.
• Active BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound examinations and vascular studies.
• Position patients and ensure optimal test results.
• Instruct patients and ensure cooperation during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and prepare images for interpretation by radiologist.
• Mentor less experienced technologists as needed.
