Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound exams, utilizing multiple modalities and equipment. The role includes cross-training within CV Services and rotating to off-site locations to serve patients.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Sonography with BLS, ARDMS RVT-VT, and CCI/RVS certifications. You will join a mission-driven team delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days (AHA).
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - CCI.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT-VT) - ARDMS.
• Associate Degree in Sonography.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Ensures imaging quality by proper positioning and technical factors.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy and completeness.
• Documents findings accurately for physician review.
• Performs vascular ultrasound imaging per physician orders and protocols.
• Rotates to off-site mobile locations to serve patients and participates in on-call rotations.
• Maintains clean and sterile equipment and rooms between patients.
• Communicates patient history and exam findings to physicians.
