Job summary

MSO Gulf Coast Vascul Med Ctr is seeking a Vascular Technologist to deliver high-quality vascular ultrasound exams and clerical support. You will join a team that prioritizes patient care and collaborates to ensure efficient care delivery.

The role requires performing ultrasound procedures, scheduling patients, explaining tests to patients, positioning, and maintaining equipment, with strict adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as an ultrasound technologist/sonographer.
• Must hold one or more credentials: Registered Vascular Tech, Registered Cardiac Sonographer OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasonic procedures as directed by physicians.
• Scheduling patients for procedures.
• Explaining procedures to patients to assure cooperation and optimum test results.
• Positioning patients and selecting the appropriate transducer.
• Conducting scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment and adjusting settings for optimal results.
• Maintaining equipment and department records, reports and files.
• Must adhere to Physician Services policies and procedures.
