Job summary

Medical Essential Diagnostics is seeking an experienced vascular ultrasound technologist to perform adult ultrasound studies and contribute to accurate clinical assessments. The role requires teamwork with providers and clinic staff to maintain smooth operations.

You will document measurements in the EMR using OnePacs, ensure patient education, and uphold HIPAA standards while delivering compassionate care in a dynamic five-day-a-week schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• 1 year of vascular ultrasound experience.
• RVT, ARRT, and ARDMS/RDMS certifications required.
• Ability to stay calm under stress and exercise good judgment.
• Analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Work independently and as part of a care team.
• Comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Conduct adult ultrasound scans on various patients.
• Collaborate with the provider regarding clinical assessments and clinic staff to ensure smooth flow within clinic operations.
• Perform examinations with attention to anatomy and physiology, differentiating artifacts from true findings.
• Upload and document measurements/reports through OnePacs and our EMR system.
• Educate patients and families about testing procedures, answering questions, and calming concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
