Job summary

SCA Health seeks a Vascular Technologist to perform high-quality vascular ultrasound exams following established protocols and IAC standards. You will assess patients, acquire images, analyze data, report findings, and participate in quality initiatives.

You will collaborate with providers and staff to ensure optimal patient care, maintain HIPAA compliance, and support QA, training, and ongoing professional development within a busy vascular lab.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with patients and healthcare team.
• Commitment to quality improvement and maintaining IAC accreditation.
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort with EHR and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment per protocols.
• Review patient records and verify identity prior to exams.
• Perform vascular ultrasound exams and analyze images.
• Document findings and preliminary reports in the EHR.
• Communicate urgent findings to the provider promptly.
• Assist with training of students or new staff.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
