Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of Ultrasonography experience preferred.
  • ARDMS or CCI Certification required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn.
  • Excel in fast-paced environments- This is a busy vascular surgery ultrasound department (both clinic and hospital)
  • ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or CCI Certification required.
  • Completion of ultrasound program required.
  • 1-2 years Ultrasonography experience preferred.

What You Will Do:

Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies in accordance with department policy and protocol. To Monitor and evaluate patient care quality and efficiency as part of a multi-disciplinary team and appropriate for the age population served, as defined in the department’s scope of service.

  • Provides advanced technical skills for the operating functions of the treatment area(s).
  • Performs ultrasound procedures in accordance with unit-based standards of practice.
  • Practices effective communication that enhances teamwork and quality of care.
  • Provides direct or indirect supervision or training for Ultrasonography students.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
