Qualifikationen

• Registered RVT, or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS), or Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer (RCS).
• Ultrasound Certification required (ARDMS/CCI/RDMS).
• 1 year experience as RVT/RVS/RCS; 4–6 years preferred with strong communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and position patient and exam room for ultrasound procedure in compliance with policies.
• Record and maintain exam records; ensure images are saved to PACS.
• Document findings and report to physician for interpretation.
• Maintain infection control; clean equipment and surfaces between patients.
• Stock exam rooms and inspect equipment; notify manager of malfunctions.
• Update manager on equipment condition and provide recommendations for purchases.
• Participate in QA, training, and safety meetings; stay current with Joint Commission standards.
• Ensure timely completion of patient charts; perform other duties as assigned.
