Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound and related non-invasive procedures per department policies. You will organize and prioritize exams and ensure accurate data entry and documentation for accreditation.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience, completes an accredited ultrasound program, and is RVT certified within 12 months of hire; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of related ultrasound experience.
• Experience with Transcranial and Abdominal Doppler preferred.
• Knowledge of vascular anatomy and safety protocols.
• Ability to follow detailed exam protocols and patient care.
• Capable of data entry and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound and non-invasive vascular procedures per policy.
• Triage patients according to acuity and collect clinical history.
• Submit exam images and worksheets for physician interpretation.
• Enter data into NextGen and maintain logs for accreditation.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in QI activities.
• Pursue RVT credential and ongoing education.
• Assist in risk management activities.
• Support training of students and staff as needed.
• Adhere to Code of Business Conduct and company policies.
