Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer II to join our Michigan team. You will review physician orders, prepare patients for ultrasound exams, and perform high-quality ultrasound studies to support diagnostic interpretation according to departmental protocols.

Under Radiologist supervision, you will conduct vascular exams, assist with US-guided procedures, maintain equipment, and stay current with ultrasound trends while delivering compassionate care within a large Catholic

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Sonography program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Registered by the ARDMS with a certification in ABD or OB/GYN and Vascular OR RVT Registry-eligible with certification within one year of date of hire.
• One year as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is preferred.
• Willing to train in Breast Imaging.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician orders and scan areas of the body using proper positioning techniques.
• Provide high quality images meeting department protocols.
• Assist physicians with US-guided procedures and biopsies as needed.
• Operate ultrasonic scanner and workstation.
• Maintain equipment and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Coordinate scanning with other tests and notify physicians of results.
