Job summary

Trinity Health Oakland seeks a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer II specializing in General Vascular to join the Radiology team. The role involves interpreting orders, performing vascular and other ultrasound exams, and assisting with procedures to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

You will work the evenings and afternoons with three weekends per month, enjoy a full benefits package, and contribute to patient-centered care in a leading Catholic health system.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Sonography program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARDMS certification with ABD/OB-GYN and Vascular OR RVT Registry-eligible with certification within one year of hire.
• One year as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is preferred.
• Willing to train in Breast Imaging.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician orders and scan areas with proper positioning.
• Produce high quality images meeting department protocols.
• Assist with US-guided procedures and biopsies.
• Relays preliminary reports to physicians.
• Maintain equipment and stay current with ultrasound trends.
• Perform vascular exams under supervision of RVT or Radiologist.
